
Who We Are
Patricia Nan Anderson is an expert in child development and learning with over thirty years´ experience in innovative programming, public speaking and guidance of parents and teachers of young children. She earned her doctorate in Educational Psychology from Northern Illinois University and a master´s degree in Education from University of Minnesota. She has been a professor of Early Childhood Education for over 15 years, at National-Louis University in Chicago and Walden University nationwide.
In 2008, concerned about the lack of attention paid to parenting and home environment by the early childhood education field, Dr. Anderson made a commitment to the development of parents and families. She wrote Parenting: A Field Guide, launched the radio program Parenting: A Field Guide LIVE!, attracting a national audience, and began offering free and low-cost parent seminars and the daily podcast Family Field Notes. Dr. Anderson is a recognized authority on mindful parenting and is a sought-after speaker, coach, and consultant.
